04SMS/text message privacy and consent
SCUSA may offer SMS/text-message communications, including order updates, abandoned-cart reminders, customer-service messages, promotional messages, discount offers, product updates, and other messages related to SCUSA products and services.
By providing your mobile number and affirmatively opting in to receive SMS/text messages from SCUSA, you authorize SCUSA Industries LLC and its service providers to send text messages to the mobile number you provided. Consent to receive marketing SMS/text messages is not required as a condition of purchasing any goods or services from SCUSA.
Message frequency may vary. Message and data rates may apply. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
You may opt out of SMS/text messages at any time by replying STOP, END, CANCEL, UNSUBSCRIBE, or QUIT to any SCUSA text message. You may also contact us using the contact information listed below and request removal from SMS/text-message communications. After you opt out, we may send one final confirmation message confirming that you have been unsubscribed. After that confirmation, we will not send further marketing SMS/text messages unless you opt in again.
For help, reply HELP to any SCUSA text message or contact us at support@scusa.shop or 877-MY-SCUSA (877-697-2872).
SCUSA does not sell, rent, trade, or share SMS opt-in consent, mobile telephone numbers, or SMS/text-message consent records with third parties for their own independent marketing purposes. We may share SMS-related information with service providers only as necessary to operate our messaging program, deliver messages, maintain consent records, process opt-outs, provide customer support, prevent fraud, comply with law, or protect our rights.
Your SMS consent applies only to SCUSA Industries LLC and the specific messaging program or purpose for which you opted in. SMS consent is not transferable, assignable, or shared with unrelated third parties.
05Email marketing preferences
If you subscribe to SCUSA email marketing, we may send promotional emails, product announcements, discounts, abandoned-cart reminders, educational content, and other marketing communications.
You may unsubscribe from promotional emails at any time by clicking the unsubscribe link included in our emails or by contacting us at support@scusa.shop. If you unsubscribe from promotional emails, we may still send non-promotional messages, including order confirmations, shipping updates, account notices, customer-service responses, legal notices, and other transactional communications.
06Cookies, tracking technologies, and advertising
We and our service providers may use cookies, pixels, tags, software development kits, analytics tools, advertising identifiers, and similar technologies to operate the Services, remember preferences, understand website performance, measure advertising effectiveness, personalize content, prevent fraud, and support marketing.
These technologies may collect information about your device, browser, IP address, pages viewed, products viewed, cart activity, referring websites, purchase activity, and interactions with our emails or advertisements.
You may be able to control cookies through your browser settings. Some browser settings may affect the functionality of the Services. Depending on where you live, you may also have rights to opt out of certain targeted advertising or sale/sharing activities as described below.
07How we disclose personal information
SCUSA may disclose personal information in the following circumstances:
- Service providers and vendors. We may disclose information to companies that help us operate our business, including Shopify, payment processors, shipping carriers, fulfillment providers, email platforms, SMS platforms, analytics providers, advertising platforms, fraud-prevention tools, cloud hosting providers, customer-support platforms, and professional advisors.
- Shopify and platform providers. Our store is powered by Shopify. Information you provide through the Services may be processed by Shopify and its service providers to support checkout, payments, hosting, analytics, fraud prevention, advertising, and other commerce functions.
- Shipping and fulfillment partners. We may disclose information necessary to fulfill, ship, track, insure, or resolve issues with your order.
- Payment processors and fraud-prevention providers. We may disclose information necessary to process payments, verify transactions, prevent fraud, handle chargebacks, and maintain payment security.
- Marketing and advertising partners. We may disclose limited information to advertising, analytics, and marketing partners to measure, personalize, or improve our advertising, where permitted by law and subject to your rights and choices.
- Legal, compliance, and safety purposes. We may disclose information when required or permitted by law, legal process, subpoena, court order, government request, law-enforcement request, tax or accounting obligation, or where we believe disclosure is necessary to protect SCUSA, our customers, our rights, our property, public safety, or the security of the Services.

- With your consent or direction. We may disclose information when you authorize us to do so or direct us to share information with a third party.
08No sale of SMS consent data
SCUSA does not sell, rent, trade, or share mobile telephone numbers, SMS opt-in data, SMS consent records, or text-message preferences with third parties for their own marketing or promotional purposes.
This restriction does not prevent us from using service providers to help deliver SMS messages, maintain consent records, process opt-outs, provide customer support, prevent fraud, comply with law, or operate the Services.
09Relationship with Shopify
The Services are hosted by Shopify. Shopify may collect and process personal information about your access to and use of the Services to provide, secure, improve, and support the commerce platform. Information you submit through the Services may be transmitted to Shopify and to third parties that may be located in jurisdictions other than where you reside.
Shopify may also use information obtained through your interactions with our store and other merchants to provide enhanced commerce features, fraud prevention, analytics, advertising, and platform services. Shopify’s handling of personal information is governed by Shopify’s own privacy practices.
You can learn more about Shopify’s privacy practices by reviewing Shopify’s Consumer Privacy Policy and Shopify Privacy Portal.
10Third-party websites and links
The Services may contain links to third-party websites, platforms, social media pages, payment services, shipping tools, review platforms, or other services that are not owned or controlled by SCUSA.
We are not responsible for the privacy, security, content, accuracy, availability, or practices of third-party websites or services. If you access a third-party website or service, you should review that third party’s privacy policy and terms before providing information.
11Children’s privacy
The Services are not intended for children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under the age of majority in their jurisdiction.
If you believe a child has provided personal information to SCUSA, contact us at support@scusa.shop and we will review the request and delete the information where required by law.
We do not knowingly sell or share personal information of individuals under 16 years of age.
12Security
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect personal information. However, no security system is perfect, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
You are responsible for protecting your account credentials and for using secure networks and devices when accessing the Services. Do not send sensitive or confidential information through unsecured channels.
13Retention of personal information
We retain personal information for as long as reasonably necessary to provide the Services, fulfill orders, maintain business records, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, prevent fraud, enforce agreements, maintain tax and accounting records, support customer service, and protect our rights.
SMS opt-in and opt-out records may be retained as necessary to document consent, honor opt-out requests, comply with messaging requirements, prevent unauthorized messaging, and defend against legal claims.
When personal information is no longer needed, we may delete, de-identify, aggregate, or securely retain it as permitted by law.

15Global Privacy Control and Do Not Track
Depending on where you live, we may treat a browser-based Global Privacy Control signal as a request to opt out of sale, sharing, or targeted advertising for the browser or device sending the signal, as required by applicable law.
Other than Global Privacy Control where legally required, we do not currently respond to browser “Do Not Track” signals because there is no uniform industry standard for such signals.
16State-specific privacy notices
Residents of certain U.S. states, including California, Colorado, Connecticut, Virginia, Utah, Texas, Oregon, Montana, Delaware, Iowa, Nebraska, New Hampshire, New Jersey, Tennessee, and other states with consumer privacy laws, may have additional privacy rights under applicable law.
